When Angela Thomson started a hot sauce business with her husband Haico Krijgsman in the mid-2010s, she couldn’t handle black pepper on her food. Now, she’s the mastermind behind Ottawa’s annual hot sauce expo, Heating Up the Capital.
She’s made it her life’s mission to get everyone to try hot sauce at least once.
